Ever since I was young, I've always loved the stars, planets and astronomy in general. I'm not sure how many of you have seen pictures of all the planets/moons, but they're astoundingly beautiful. For those who haven't, check all these out and then post your favorites:

    Inner Planets:
    Mercury

    Venus

    Earth
    - Luna/The Moon

    Mars
    - Phobos
    - Deimos

    Asteroid Belt:
1 Ceres, photographed from Earth, so the quality is terrible. This is the largest asteroid. The circle you see there is about half the size of Texas.

    243 Ida
    - Dactyl, only known moon of an asteroid

    433 Eros

    951 Gaspra

    Gas Giants:
    Jupiter (beautiful hi-res shot)
    - Io
    - Europa
    - Ganymede (incomplete hi-res)
    - Callisto

Saturn (hi-res shot of Saturn eclipsing the Sun, very beautiful)
    - Titan

    Uranus
    - Miranda
    - Ariel
    - Umbriel
    - Titania
    - Oberon

    Neptune
    - Triton, best picture we've got, unfortunately.

    Kuiper Belt:
134340 Pluto, if you're wondering, Pluto was given a number back in 2006 when it stopped being a planet.

Not sure how many of you bothered to click all of those, but I think most of them are beautiful. Jupiter would probably be my favorite planet, followed by Mercury and then Saturn. My favorite moons would have to be Ganymede and Europa.

Titan looks amazing, Io, Callisto and Ganymede are nice too.

I clicked all the choices, David. :D

I've always thought that Neptune was a gorgeous planet, along with Mercury and Saturn. I've also always thought our moon was gorgeous, along with Callisto.
