I'm not 100% sure how we will produce the E-Zine yet, but if you can produce original content that we need, please do so.

    - All content must be original. You must have written it yourself. If anything is found to be plagiarized, you'll probably get into trouble.
    - It must be properly written. Somewhat professionally.
    - If you have content you want to submit, please PM it to me.
    - If you already had content posted in the E-Zine boards ( and you would like for it to be used, PM it to myself.
    - Don't be upset if your stuff isn't used. I'm going to be somewhat picky, no offense.
    - Although it is preferred that the content be gaming-related, the content can be about anything. Movies, music, games, technology, anime, manga, tv shows, computer programs, etc. It also does not have to be entirely new stuff. It can be retro, if you'd like. I would actually prefer a mix of both.

    Things I am looking for:

    - Editorials. It can be anything. An example of an editorial is this:

    - Reviews. This format is fine: or (The more in-depth, the better.)

    - Previews. Based off of what you know, have seen, etc. Example:

    - Interviews (With members/staff members). Example:

    - A "Mailbag". You basically gather questions, preferably ones asked by members of these forums, and you answer them with a bit of personality. Example:

    - Walkthroughs/Guides/FAQs/Gaming Tips. Only if YOU wrote it yourself. You shouldn't need an example of this.

    - Anything else you can think of that you believe would fit well with the E-Zine. Whether it be something like the "True/False" thing I used to do or something else.

[Also, the reason I want them PMed to myself instead of having a board is so that I can share them with the other staff members without having people read the content in advance and we can either set up an emailed "Newsletter" format or a section on the Front Page (which I would prefer).]

I actually planned on contributing to the E-Zine when we first decided to revive it, but then all my money problems started, and I had a lot of reports to write, so I ended forgetting about it because I never had the time to get started on the reviews. At this point in time, the games I planned on reviewing are just too old to bother writing anything for them, and I have very little money to buy any new games with (the most recent game I bought was Pokemon Battle Revolution, back in the middle of July), so I can't really help with any reviews anymore. Hopefully I'll be able to get my shit together soon and contribute, can't guarantee anything though.....

Actually, I do need some retro reviews/tips/editorials/etc. as well. I want the E-Zine to have a Retro section, personally.

Just because they're old doesn't mean they can't be reviewed; I think it's a rather hopeless goal to keep this thing absolutely on the cutting edge anyhow. We just don't have the kind of resources for that. Besides, I myself haven't purchased a single new game since Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria (that was months ago), but plan on at least attempting to submit reviews for some of my older titles.

I'm also definitely for having a retro section, where we can review games which were originally released years ago.

They aren't really 'retro', just...old. They're all games from back in January or December, I just don't think it's worth it to write a review for a game that's been out that long, most people that wanted to try it already have.

I like the e-zine, but I wish more people would contribute and comment on other people's submissions. I've done album reviews.
