Ahoy there, everyone! As you can probably guess, this club is all about music and singing! We can discuss our favorite J-pop/J-rock/J-whatever artists or songs and even translate some lyrics. Basically, you're free to do as you please here just as long as it's music related! Btw, Code Geass R2's opening theme song is really catchy, don't you think? 02 by Orange Range-what a magnificent song! Even the lyrics are encouraging!
  2. Diabolikal Rapture MPAA's Nightmare

    I personally love MUCC's song; Libra. :D

Ack! There's way too many awesome Japanese songs to choose from for this. XD

My universal favorite is probably Kesenai Tsumi by Nana Kitade from Full Metal Alchemist. Something about how the melody flows so smoothly with the lyrics, while the background music is able to convey a sort of emotion with each verse. And it certainly helps that it's one hell of a catchy song. >_>

Other favorites are numerous: Sakasama no Chou from Jigoku Shoujo, A-I-TSU from SuperGALs!, Shizuku from Great Teacher Onizuka, Be Your Girl from Elfen Lied, Love Destiny from Sister Princess, Libra by MUCC, Houkiboshi from Bleach. The list is damn near endless!

lol @ you for knowing SuperGALs! But yeah, I really like Dakishimetai. It's the kind of song you'd listen to when you're feeling lonely. Okay, so currently Utada Hikaru's Fight the Blues is ultra exquisite. It's a laid back tune that you'd still want to dance to. Also, let's not forget Shibasaki Kou's Fuyuzora (Winter Sky), too! And speaking of Nana Kitade...you have got to listen to Suicide's Love Story. I swear, it's the perfect song for a graduation theme montage or whatever >_>.
  5. Darth Arkas RC-1138

The original Ruroni Kenshin theme/ending song, not Freckles. That was good shit. I can't remember the name though. Was it Heart of Sword or somethin' like that?
  6. Tentei No Mai Bitch Pudding!

Well, there's like seven ending theme songs in the Rurouni Kenshin series, but you said Heart of Swords, so I was easily able to understand (thank God)! That would be the third ending theme I think and it is super groovy as well! Oh, and It's Gonna Rain was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally sweet, too. Poppy and fun.

Oh, I haven't heard of that band before! I'm going to have to take a look into Endless Dismal Moan. Also...

This is the song Tekito Lover by Emyli (I'm a bit of a fan). Er, don't pay too much attention to the video >_>. Anyway, the song's pretty old, but I still listen to it.

You can be manly and still enjoy a series like SuperGALs!, can't you?

    ... can't you? :(

    >_>

And Mai-sensei, that video is WEIRD. The song is catchy though.
  10. Tentei No Mai Bitch Pudding!

Virtually all J-pop music videos are weird. I'm totally going to post some more later and also...dear, SuperGALs! is like, the omega factor of girlie girl madness. You should streak your hair, get your nails did, and start wearing loose socks like Ran Kotobuki now >_>;.

This is oddly one of my favorite J-pop music videos. Gangurou girls, yay.

    Technically, they're Japanese-Americans.

In-san, I enjoyed the video you posted! It was very montage-esque. Oh, and of course, the song was groovy, too X3.

Okay, so here's another video! This one is fairly new. I REALLY like Kanon's voice and her cello playing in this video. I especially adore her since Kanon's producer is Mana of Malice Mizer <3.
    1 people like this.

That last one was actually pretty cool.

Ronin Warriors' Japanese opening...Stardust Eyes...is the only Japanese song I've ever liked. But it's an awesome song either way.

    ...Yep.
  16. Omni <b><font size=4><font color=171717>Sola Fide

Venom, check out some Galnyerus or something.
  17. Tentei No Mai Bitch Pudding!

In-san, Galnyerus is awesome! Cause Disarray is pretty neato >_>. Okay, I like the last video that was posted, though I'm not sure if I agree with the blur. Anywho, I'm going to post a music video by one of my favorite artists ever-> Maaya Sakamoto. The song is called Saigo no Kajitsu which could be interpreted as The Last Fruit.

I hate to admit it, but I like every song I'd listened to by Malice Mizer and Dir en grey.

This video is Dir en grey's Namamekashiki ansoku, tamerai ni hohoemi (phew, long title). Personally, this is one of my favorite songs from the group.
  20. Fucking good game. Pun intended.
